Tones are mini-series from a large photography projects where each image is constructed from layered textures superimposed upon one another, created with a digital camera using multiple exposures — a quasi-digital montage of different sceneries. It's like an inner mental associative exercise, a transmutation of reality into allegory.

 

The images simultaneously engage the viewer's senses and emotional dispositions by stimulating their visual perceptions. The images' symbolic meanings and underlying narratives await the viewers' further interpretation and decoding.
