The Red Abyss series is a private manifesto, a string of personal tarot cards representing swirling thoughts and foaming emotions arising from my unconscious.

 

The shaded symbol of hidden aggression, the obscure patterns of suppressed fear, the sharp contour of human sufferings; a riverbed made of stones, as a sign of unsolved difficulties; the slow decay, as an inevitable annihilation of human life are emerging from the rushing blood-steamy textured background. These pictures are visual imprints of that desperate incubus, different facets of the terrorized present I should be living in.
